It is in the bar of the starting village of the Vendée Globe 2020, the mythical solo round-the-world sailing race, that we have installed our Gwilen table tops.
Two trays of dimension 155cm x 85cm have been made in our sedimentary material, with a natural color mottled with blue. As for all our pieces, the blue is dyed in the mass with natural pigments. The table was designed by Herogaxana, a furniture editor from Vendée, for whom we made the tops.
The large format of the trays as well as the marbled stain were custom made with a waxed finish.
